On Friday, we enjoyed exploring multiplication with our oranges! Students worked in groups to figure out how many orange slices we would end up with in all using 15 oranges sliced 8 times each! After solving this perplexing Math Investigations problem, we enjoyed eating our juicy oranges for snack! Yummy!

Wild About Learning!
Come Join us on our 2008-2009 Learning Safari!
Just what is a safari? According to dictionary.com:
http://www.dictionary.com/ it is:1. a journey or expedition, for hunting, exploration, or investigation, esp. in eastern Africa.
2. the hunters, guides, vehicles, equipment, etc., forming such an expedition. any long or adventurous journey or expedition.
This year we are taking an adventure through learning! Our class specifically, will focus on a "tropical" safari! Being at Neptune Beach, it's hard for us to escape from our love of palm trees and beachy decor! We can't wait for you to join us on the journey through third grade...
